Brandon Oaks Seasons of Life

I recently had the pleasure of painting a mural for Brandon Oaks Assisted Living and Nursing Facility in Roanoke, Virginia. Located in the Brandon Oaks meditation and reflection garden, this mural is designed to be a source of peace and contemplation for the residents. The garden's beauty inspired a mural that reflects the seasons of life and change. Given that the oak tree is the official trademark of Brandon Oaks, the mural features an oak tree transitioning from winter through fall, symbolizing both literal and metaphorical seasons.

Engaging with the residents during the project was a highlight, and I had plenty of time to incorporate all the details I envisioned. This project was truly one of my favorites to date!
